Paris Saint-Germain won 2-1 (3-1 on aggregate) against Arsenal this Wednesday at the Parc des Princes as part of the return semi-finals of the Champions League 2024-2025 (final on May 31). After the victory, Paris striker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (24) spoke to Prime Video.

Kvaratskhelia “us too, and we deserve to win the Champions League.”

“I’m very happy, because we’re in the final and for me it was a dream: everything happened so fast. It will be a tough game against Inter, who deserve to be in the final, we respect them: they’re one of the best teams in the world, but so are we, and we deserve to win the Champions League.”

There’s obviously great joy for all the Parisians. It’s a bit special for Kvaratskhelia, who joined PSG in January. Everything’s happening so fast, there’s hardly any time to think about it. Even if the schedule is getting lighter now, there’s no question of slacking off.

Reaching the final is a fantastic step, but it’s not the end of the road. Paris now has to work hard to win. There are points to believe in, and the Parisian striker is right to stress that his team deserves to go all the way. Just like Inter Milan.

They’re a great opponent, who also want to win this precious trophy. There’s no secret about it, we’ll have to prepare ourselves to put in a complete performance. Let’s look forward to May 31, without forgetting to win the Coupe de France on May 24 against Reims on the way.
