This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Arsenal at the Parc des Princes in the second leg of their Champions League 2024-2025 semi-final (0-1 win in the first leg) (kick-off 9pm, CET). Paris coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting 11, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches and suspension risks, after having formed the Paris squad for this match.
Guessing the team chosen by coach Luis Enrique is always difficult. He has prepared his players and his squad so as to have several options within the competition and the versatility of each one. Even if, in the Champions League over the last few years, certain points have been less in flux. The defense and midfield seem fairly secure, although Lucas Beraldo and Warren Zaïre-Emery could be small surprises.
The biggest suspense is in attack, but it’s safe to assume that Dembélé will start. He was only absent for a few days and was able to take part in 2 sessions. It remains to be seen who will accompany him. It could be the same as in the first leg, but Bradley Barcola starting wouldn’t be a surprise either. Rather than Désiré Doué…possibly Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Possible line-up –
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma
Substitutes – Safonov, Tenas, Beraldo, Kimpembe, Hernandez, Mayulu, Zaïre-Emery, Barcola, Lee, Mbaye, Ramos.
AbOut sent – El Hannach, Tape, Zague (choice).
Possible yellow card suspension: None, yellow cards were reset to 0 in the semi-final.
