Thilo Kehrer, a 27-year-old central defender now with AS Monaco who spent time with PSG between 2018 and 2022, gave RMC Sport a lucid analysis of Inter Milan’s strengths, while showing his unwavering support for his former club ahead of their decisive clash.

Kherer “I’m confident they’ll do it”.

“I support PSG, of course. Inter are a very physical team, very strong in defence and organization. They defend typically like an Italian team. They’re dangerous on the flanks and from set-pieces. We’re going to have to be patient, focused and strong. I’m confident they’ll do it.

Former Parisian Thilo Kehrer was quick to show his support for PSG. For the former German international, Inter are the epitome of the Italian school: physical, dangerous from set-pieces and on the flanks.

To overcome this obstacle, they will need patience, concentration and a certain solidity. This is a strong message of encouragement from a player who knows all about the pressure and demands of the Parisian top flight. His analysis reminds us that, against a team as structured as Inter, the key will be control and resilience. PSG, buoyed by the confidence of their veterans, know what to expect.
