Mayulu “No, it wasn’t a quiet match”.

Was it a quiet game tonight?

No, it wasn’t an easy match. We prepared like any other match. We all had to concentrate. No, it wasn’t a quiet match.

How important is it for you to finish the season unbeaten?

Yes, of course, it’s very important for us. We’re going to give it our all in the games that follow. We’re going to try to stay unbeaten.

Mayulu “We wanted to stay unbeaten”.

Did you play 90 minutes? How does it feel to play a full match?

First of all, the coach trusts me and I’d like to thank him for that. I tried to help the team no matter what position he put me in. I tried to help the team as much as I could.

How do you manage to go from a Champions League match to something a little more “ordinary”?

No, we give it our all, no matter what the match, there’s no easy match, we give it our all. It’s an important match. We wanted to stay unbeaten, so we had to stay focused right to the end.

Mayulu “We’d like to thank him and try to give our all on a daily basis and in matches”.

What did you think of Désiré Doué’s performance ?

Yes, he put in a great performance. He scored a goal, he helped the team, he did his best. We’re all happy with him.

And Ibrahim Mbaye ?

Yes, he put in a great performance. The coach put him in the starting line-up, he trusted him. We’re happy with him too.

Were there a lot of youngsters on the pitch ?

Yes, that’s the coach, he’s like that, he trusts us. We’d like to thank him for that, and we try to give it our all on a daily basis and in matches.

Mayulu “I try to learn from everyone”.

What’s it like for you youngsters ?

In training, you have to give it your all, whether you’re young or old, we all give it our all. After that, it’s up to the coach to make the choices.

How do you judge your progress ?

I try to learn from everyone. I observe all the players, strikers, defenders, midfielders, their behavior on and off the pitch, and I try to improve as much as I can.

Who inspires you the most ?

Everyone. I take the best from everyone. I try to bring all that to my game and my personality.
