On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain hosted Manchester City in the 7th round of Champions League group matches (video summary PSG/Manchester City). On the sidelines of the match, 25-year-old Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma spoke to PSG TV about his side’s success.

Donnarumma “We’re going to keep going like this because it’s not over”
“It’s an incredible emotion. After the two goals, I was a bit worried that the team would be different. But thank you to the fans because we had their support for 90 minutes, and that’s incredible. This victory is for them and for Paris Saint-Germain as a whole.
We gave a lot of energy, as you saw on the pitch. The team played a great match and it’s a deserved victory. We’re going to carry on like this because it’s not over yet, we’ve got another important Champions League match. For tonight, we’re going to enjoy ourselves and then we’ll look ahead to the championship and the Champions League.”
An important victory for PSG at a Parc des Princes that was in turmoil. It was hard to believe in success when the Citizens scored their second goal in the 53rd minute. Once again, the Parisians were in complete control of the game, creating chances but failing to convert them.
But the magic of soccer lit up the Parc des Princes, and in the space of a fortnight, PSG completely reversed the trend. As well as being a 100% deserved victory, it will also boost the confidence of the Parisian team. A confidence that will, we hope, enable them to confirm against Stuttgart in order to validate their playoff qualification.
