The Paris Saint-Germain first-team squad will resume training on Saturday, July 25, starting with the usual medical tests. However, Le Parisien has reported an early return for one player: Quentin Ndjantou. The 18-year-old midfielder/forward has not played since December 20 due to a serious right hamstring injury. He had been training with the reserves (Espoirs) to prepare for his return to the first team.
Quentin Ndjantou resumed training at the Campus today.
Randal Kolo Muani, Renato Sanches, Naoufel El Hannach, Yoram Zague, and Noah Nsoki are currently with the reserves and are all expected to leave this summer. #PSG https://t.co/lFU5xUU05l
“An early return for the young Parisian, who hasn’t played a competitive match since December 20, 2025—a 4-0 Coupe de France victory over Fontenay. The academy graduate can now get a head start on his preparations before rejoining the squad managed by Luis Enrique.”
This is good news, as it confirms Ndjantou is fully ready to begin pre-season training. It offers a chance to gradually work his way back into the mix, picking up where he left off before his injury. The academy product had been racking up minutes and earning glowing praise from coach Luis Enrique. Enrique almost certainly still counts on the youngster, though he will still have to fight for playing time—requiring a bit of patience after such a long layoff.
Being present from the very start of pre-season—or even slightly ahead of schedule—could prove invaluable, especially given the late return of players involved in the World Cup. We look forward to seeing how quickly Ndjantou can regain his match fitness and resume his development.
