This Tuesday evening, a ceremony was held in Portugal to recognize various players at the Portugal Football Globes 2025. Four Paris Saint-Germain players were honored for their Champions League victory: Nuno Mendes (23-year-old left-back), João Neves (21-year-old midfielder), Vitinha (25-year-old midfielder), and Gonçalo Ramos (24-year-old striker). They all spoke, except for Neves, who remained in Paris to recover from his recent injury.

“Vitinha, Nuno Mendes, Gonçalo Ramos, and João Neves (who did not travel due to injury) were honored yesterday at the Portugal Football Globes 2025.

A ‘Globe Estrelas do Ano’ recognizes their Champions League victory with PSG.”

Vitinha

“I would like to thank the president of the FPF for this award. We are very happy; it has been a dream season, not only for the club, but also for the national team. We want to maintain this level, and if possible, do better, because the title still eludes us. That’s it. Good evening everyone.”

Nuno Mendes

“I would also like to thank the president and the club. It has been an incredible year for all of us and for the club. I would like to thank my teammates who are here with us, because they have all been important. We are very happy.”

Gonçalo Ramos

“I would like to thank everyone here, in the national team, and at PSG. It’s an honor to be part of the group we have at the club and also to be part of this group of players we have in the national team. Thank you very much.” “, comments relayed by Paris SG Infos.

The Portuguese players at PSG deserve an award; they left their mark on the year and on history. Even if Ramos played a lesser role compared to the other three, he still played and participated in the titles won. Let’s not forget that they were also important to the national team during a very good year, including winning the Nations League.

They can be proud and happy with what they’ve accomplished. We appreciate seeing them so grateful; they don’t forget that they were also able to win thanks to their teammates. At PSG, as with the national team. We hope they continue to succeed in this direction, by stringing together matches and winning. For Ramos, the main thing is to finally fully integrate into the team and become more consistent.
