This Wednesday, in the semi-finals of the 2025 Club World Cup, Paris Saint-Germain faced Real Madrid at MetLife Stadium in New York. The Red and Blue dominated the match, winning 4-0 (video highlights PSG/Real Madrid). Here are our scores for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Gianluigi Donnarumma (6) – Little called upon in the first half, he managed his restarts and exits well.
Defenders –
Achraf Hakimi (7) – One day we’ll have to analyze this player, because he’s different. Indefatigable, he never seems to tire of his efforts. His right flank has become a complex zone for any opponent. Calmer in the second half.
Marquinhos (7) – A transformed captain, he has never looked younger on the pitch. Once again anticipating almost everything, he too had a fine first half. Managed his second half well.
Lucas Beraldo (7) – Promised hell, he delivered. Always very calm, this player has something interesting. His follow-through is always meticulous. He had a great game.
Nuno Mendes (7) – There’s one player who has gone from promise to established player, and that’s him. Sometimes disparaged, he dominated all his direct opponents in 2025. This Wednesday, he continued his fine form with his match against Madrid. His first half was full, both defensively and in terms of percussion. Replaced by Lee Kang-in in the 79th minute.
Midfielders –
João Neves (8) – It’s hard not to name Neves as one of the team’s leaders in the first half of the season, and even more so for the season as a whole. He dominated Real Madrid not only in terms of game intelligence, but also in terms of combativeness and use of the ball.
Vitinha (8) – This player reached such a high level so quickly that even the media and followers didn’t have time to place him at the top of the hierarchy. He sublimates his coach Luis Enrique’s game.
Fabian Ruiz (8.5) – What can I say about his first half? Present in the middle line when the game called for it. Present in the box to score. This player has a real sense of positioning and his year 2025 should showcase the player he really is. Replaced in the 66th minute by Warren Zaïre-Emery.
Forwards –
Ousmane Dembélé (7) – Goalscorer, stalker, this Dembélé is definitely another player. His first half gave the team character. Tired in the second half, we felt it. Replaced in the 59th minute by Gonçalo Ramos.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (6) – His fighting spirit offset his lack of technical accuracy in the first half. Although not very inspiring offensively, he put up a good fight. Replaced in the 59th minute by Bradley Barcola.
Désiré Doué (6) – An average first half. There were a few flashes of brilliance, but he also missed a lot of his technical moves. But even in his most average games, he still put in some quality work on the pitch. Replaced in the 66th minute by Senny Mayulu.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (8) – This PSG 2025 is his work. He said they’d win it all, and we’re not far from that with the final against Chelsea looming. In any case, Real Madrid didn’t exist tactically, like other teams this season.
