What did the few days in Doha and this victory mean to you?
It’s good to be competing again. Especially after the Christmas vacations, which are always a good time to be with your family and recharge your batteries. I consider this a very positive moment, as the climate for a final was very positive.
Luis Enrique “When I see the players training, I’m very optimistic”.
A lot of games in a short space of time, is that a positive thing?
I think we’re a team that can play a lot of games. It’s a great opportunity to play a lot of games in a few weeks. It’s important to rotate the squad and we’re all highly motivated. When I see the players training, I’m very optimistic and the team is totally connected.
Luis Enrique “It’s very difficult when teams come to the Parc des Princes”.
What kind of opponent are you expecting tomorrow against Saint-Étienne?
It’s very difficult when teams come to the Parc des Princes. Teams often play their best soccer when they meet us. The coach only arrived a few games ago. It’s a historic club in France. We want to do well at the Parc des Princes. Our aim is to keep progressing and win every game.
