Arnau Tenas, the 24-year-old Spanish goalkeeper who signed with Paris Saint-Germain until 2026 in the summer of 2023 after leaving FC Barcelona on a free transfer, has seen very little playing time so far. As a result, he is now set to join Villarreal. L’Équipe confirmed this Tuesday that his medical will take place on Wednesday.
“Arnau Tenas will be in Villarreal on Wednesday to sign with the La Liga club from PSG, as reported by much of the Spanish press and confirmed by L’Équipe on Monday.”
This confirms that the medical is scheduled for tomorrow, leaving little room for doubt. Of course, surprises can always occur in the transfer market until a deal is officially signed. Still, it is widely expected that this move will soon be formalized, with media reports estimating the transfer fee at around €6 million
