Arnau Tenas, a 24-year-old Spanish goalkeeper who signed with Paris Saint-Germain until 2026 in the summer of 2023 after his contract with FC Barcelona ended, has had almost no playing time so far. He will therefore be leaving, most likely for Villarreal. Journalist Sacha Tavoliera confirmed this trend, with a little surprise.
“Arnau Tenas one step away from Villarreal!
The goalkeeper has reached a personal agreement with the Spanish club.
PSG has agreed to loan Tenas.
Villarreal must finalize Diego Conde’s departure to Levante before confirming the Tenas deal.
To be continued.”
We remain cautious, as nothing is certain until it is official. But we are talking about a loan here, whereas the media has been reporting a transfer fee of around €6 million so far. That would be a little more satisfactory. However, a short extension and a loan in the wake of that is not unthinkable. We will therefore have to wait and see.
