This Friday, Paris Saint-Germain (2nd) faces Angers (7th) at the Parc des Princes in Matchday 2 of Ligue 1 2025-2026 (kick-off at 8:45 p.m., CET). This Wednesday, Djamel provided an update on the injury of Senny Mayulu (19-year-old attacking midfielder).
“Senny Mayulu, who missed team training yesterday, completed an individual session today.
Everything will depend on how he feels tomorrow, but his participation in the match against Angers on Friday appears unlikely.”
Unfortunately, it’s hard to imagine Mayulu playing in this match. Or maybe only for a few minutes. But he’ll have, at best, only had one team training session under his belt in just over a week, with preparations only just beginning.
Coach Luis Enrique and his staff have always opted for caution; it would be very strange if that were any different for this visit to Angers. Especially since the squad is otherwise at full strength.
