On Wednesday evening, with a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena against Bayern Munich (5-6 on aggregate) in the second leg of the 2025-2026 Champions League semi-final, Paris Saint-Germain secured their place in the final on May 30 in Budapest against Arsenal (kick-off at 6 pm, CET). The question of a fan zone in Paris is already being raised. RMC Sport provided an update on this matter, which has the support of Mayor Emmanuel Grégoire.

“We will also have to take into account several very important cultural events on May 30.”

“The incidents in Paris on the evening of the 2025 final are not encouraging the authorities to want to set up a large gathering place for this new final. Even if the timing might offer some hope. According to our information, the Paris City Hall is entirely in favor of setting up a fan zone; the location and security remain issues to be discussed.” “

May 30th will also have to be factored in by several major cultural events, such as Aya Nakamura’s concert at the Stade de France, Damso’s concert at La Défense Arena, and Bouss’s concert at the Accor Arena.

“We’re going to work on it.”

Emmanuel Grégoire wants to set up a fan zone in Paris on the evening of the final. His staff has already discussed this with PSG, and the situation should evolve in the coming days. “We want this final to be a huge celebration. We’re going to work on it because, of course, I want to do it safely, but I want to have a great fan zone for the final,” the Mayor of Paris told RMC.

The fan zone isn’t out of the question, but it’s proving very complicated. It would already be difficult to convince the authorities without the other major events; now it seems almost impossible. Even with Emmanuel Grégoire’s support, he won’t have the final say on this matter.

” The most likely scenario is that the stadium will be set up at the Parc des Princes. That was the case last season, and it was a success. Even though there were some disturbances in Paris afterward, which seems almost inevitable (unfortunately), especially for victory celebrations. We’ll have to wait and see in the coming days, but we prefer not to get our hopes up too much for now.
