After suffering a minor injury scare against Paris FC, Ousmane Dembélé, the 29-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker, sought to allay concerns ahead of the final on May 30th. In a statement shared by RMC Sport, the Parisian player expressed confidence in his ability to be fit.

Dembélé: “Yes, I’ll be fine.”

“It’s going very well. I had a slight scare against Paris FC, but it’s fine and I’ll be ready for the final. Will I be 100% fit for the final? Yes, yes, I think so, yes, I’ll be. I have no doubt about it, I hope to be on the pitch on May 30th.

I’ve had so many minor scares or major injuries in my career, whether here at PSG or even before, especially with the big matches coming up, especially this final, I preferred to stop and above all not take any risks.”

Ousmane Dembélé’s message is particularly reassuring in its delivery. The PSG striker isn’t trying to downplay his scare, but he gives the impression of a player who is perfectly aware of the signals his body is sending him. After a career marked by several physical setbacks, he now knows when to push through and when to stop before the situation becomes more serious.

Just a few days before a major final, This approach seems more like a sign of maturity than genuine concern. By choosing to stop against Paris FC, Dembélé primarily wanted to avoid a worst-case scenario: turning a minor scare into a serious problem. His comments reflect this, with clear confidence and a stated priority: being ready for May 30th.
