Can your team do better than last season?
I think we can do much more than last season, but we did it because we had to. We prefer to play with the ball, we prefer to keep possession. But when you have to adapt because the other team is better at certain points in the game, you have to defend even better.
I think we did that. Clearly, we defended much better against Chelsea than we did in the Club World Cup, we were more effective against Liverpool. And we did it against Bayern Munich too. We defended much better in the second leg than in the first. If we could improve it, it doesn’t mean we no longer want the ball and play with the same idea. But being stronger in defense was key.
