This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain faces Arsenal at the Puskás Arena in Budapest in the 2025-2026 Champions League final (kick-off at 6 p.m., CET). Also on Wednesday, L’Equipe reported that Ousmane Dembélé (29-year-old forward) and Achraf Hakimi (27-year-old right-back) fully participated in team training for the second consecutive day.
“Ousmane Dembélé and Achraf Hakimi, who recently suffered calf and thigh injuries respectively, participated in small-sided games on Wednesday and are in contention to start against Arsenal on Saturday.”
There was little doubt after training resumed yesterday, but the players could have felt unwell. Far from it, Dembélé and Hakimi are actually building momentum in preparation for the final. This gives us hope that they will be in good shape to help the Parisian team be particularly strong, even if there are solutions without them.
