It is difficult to truly “judge” this match given how early it comes in the season, without a proper pre-season for many of the Parisian players. It is worth noting that Safonov was excellent, Marquinhos still has plenty of good years ahead of him, and the Doué/Kvaratskhelia duo thrives in big games, wasting no time in making their mark.
As for the rest, Zaïre-Emery was physically impressive (who could still doubt it?). Not everything was perfect—there were some tricky moments—but ultimately, this group, this team, keeps winning time and time again.
