This Sunday, the women’s teams of Paris Saint-Germain (2nd in Division 1) and Lille (4th in Division 2) faced each other at the PSG Campus in the Round of 16 of the 2025–2026 Coupe de France Féminine. After the 2–0 victory, left-back Noémie Fatier (17) spoke to PSG TV.
How do you feel after the win?
“I’m happy to have been able to make my first start, in an important match because we had to win. I’m happy with the coach’s trust, and we’ll keep working.”
Your assist?
“The coach said we had to cross, so I crossed. Merveille (Kanjinga) scored, so I’m happy. It’s my first assist, in my first match. On the defensive recovery, I cover the offside a bit at the start, so I push the ball forward, I run, I run, and I see that I can get a foot in before committing a foul, so I put my foot in and it works.”
