A victory that seems well-deserved for Doué, even if he lacked a bit of precision in his shots. He was nonetheless PSG’s main creator of chances in this match, thanks to his movement, technical quality, and audacity. All of these qualities were needed in this heavily rotated team.
Furthermore, Warren Zaïre-Emery (20-year-old midfielder) secured a respectable second place despite coming off the bench in midfield. His goal, with his first touch, certainly helped.
