On Sunday evening, Paris Saint-Germain cruised to a 5-0 victory against Olympique de Marseille in Matchday 21 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season at the Parc des Princes. Here are the highs and lows of this win.
Highs
❤️ The collective performance.
After a few mixed weeks, with some very promising performances but a frustrating lack of finishing, or some rather lackluster displays, PSG rediscovered their form and delivered a complete, or nearly complete, performance. They could have been even more clinical despite already scoring five goals, if we’re being overly critical. But this PSG side is simply very strong.
Ousmane Dembélé was dazzling once again.
The 28-year-old striker’s goals were admirable and, of course, crucial. But ultimately, they are a consequence of the main point: Ousmane Dembélé looked very fit and confident, both in his pressing and his attacking play. It’s very promising, and we hope this improvement continues.
Nuno Mendes, the new Monstro?
Of course, he’s not like Thiago Silva. It’s a very different style for the 23-year-old left-back. But he’s monstrous, with his physical attributes, his attacking flair, and the strength he’s developed in duels. He dominated this Classico.
Lows –
😡Almost too easy?
It’s the Classico, 1st against 3rd, the big clash everyone was waiting for. PSG ultimately swept aside OM. As Parisian supporters, we’re not complaining, but it almost lacked suspense. We’d almost dare to call OM a flop.
