Paris Saint-Germain hosted Paris FC at the Parc des Princes this Sunday evening for Matchday 17 of Ligue 1. This first match of 2026 offered the Parisians their first derby in 47 years. Despite a largely controlled performance, hampered by a very compact PFC defense, the Rouge et Bleu (Red and Blue) won 2-1. Adama Camara, midfielder for the newly promoted club, spoke to L1+ about their defeat:
Camara: “After the equalizer, we conceded that goal too quickly.”
You managed to hold your own for a while. Are there any regrets?
Regrets, yes, because after the equalizer, we conceded that goal too quickly, which put us under pressure. We were solid, they’re a good team, and I think we would have been happy with a draw.
