This Sunday, during Matchday 17 of Ligue 1 2025-2026, Paris Saint-Germain faced Paris FC at the Parc des Princes. After a match where the Rouge et Bleu calmly dominated, they won 2-1. Here are our player ratings for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Lucas Chevalier (5) – It’s difficult to judge his first half as PSG weren’t really threatened. He conceded a penalty, but he made a good diving save.
Defenders –
Warren Zaïre-Emery (6) – He had a decent first half without being exceptional. He often seemed to fade into the background when his teammates were around him; he rarely attempted anything and was content to pass the ball to another team leader. He needs to be more creative on the pitch and not isolate himself.
Ilyia Zabarnyi (5) – A solid first half. He was at fault for Paris FC’s goal, yet another mistake, while his teammate, Pacho, was almost flawless in his interventions. Substituted in the 70th minute by Marquinhos.
Willian Pacho (7) – It’s with the little things that you build great things. Pacho does a lot of small things, simply, and that completely stifles the opposition’s ambitions.
Nuno Mendes (7) – When he wants to, he’s a force to be reckoned with. His defensive and offensive power is incredible. His crosses are devastating. Substituted in the 80th minute by Lucas Hernandez.
Midfielders –
Joao Neves (7) – Very mobile and effective in the first half. He had a very good match.
Vitinha (6.5) – A great metronome in the first half. He didn’t push himself too hard, but he made it so easy for his team to play out from the back.
Fabian Ruiz (6) – Playing further up the pitch than his two teammates, he had a decent first half with plenty of movement. He was also very active in the second half, keeping possession going.
Forwards –
Senny Mayulu (6) – He showed character and desire, but seemed a bit overshadowed by Doué’s strong start. Substituted by Noah Nsoki in the 83rd minute.
Ousmane Dembélé (6) – He plays deep and struggles to fully relax. His first half was still good, but we expect more. A somewhat lucky goalscorer, he can at least smile, finally. Substituted by Gonçalo Ramos in the 70th minute.
Désiré Doué (7) – Doué embodies beautiful, entertaining football. He displayed moments of brilliance and eventually scored. His composure is undeniable, but he continues to improve. He converts his chances, and that makes all the difference. His second half was less impactful; he lacked rhythm. Substituted by Bradley Barcola in the 70th minute.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (6) – He continues to manage his squad successfully.
