This Friday, during Matchday 28 of Ligue 1 2025-2026, Paris Saint-Germain faced Toulouse at the Parc des Princes. After a match where the Rouge et Bleu largely dominated, they won 2-1. Here are our player ratings for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Matvey Safonov (4) – A difficult first half for him. His substitution changed the perception. He had little to do and made one mistake, enough to continue the discussion about his overall level. A very quiet match, even if he did show some minor weaknesses on his own. He needs to be careful with some of his clearances.
Defenders –
Achraf Hakimi (6) – Perhaps a little more vigilant defensively, he didn’t hold back in the first half. A complete match, he has fully recovered his fitness.
Ilyia Zabarnyi (6) – A very aggressive first half, very present. A few clumsy clearances, but his performance was still encouraging.
Willian Pacho (6) – He loves to get the better of his direct opponents. He continues to be a valuable asset to his team with his commitment. His ball skills aren’t exceptional, yet it works well because he plays simply and accurately.
Lucas Hernandez (6) – He’s a good option for rotating players on the left flank. He doesn’t have the attacking impact of Nuno Mendes, but he’s there, serious and aggressive. A good match from him.
Midfielders –
Désiré Doué (6.5) – Great defensive work; he was also more technically sound than in some matches this season. A good game. Substituted by Gonçalo Ramos in the 85th minute.
Lucas Beraldo (6) – He’s not quite at Vitinha’s level yet, but he understands his role well, he’s focused, and he had some good build-up play with excellent overall technique. Substituted in the 67th minute by Vitinha.
Warren Zaïre-Emery (7) – You don’t realize it because he’s not tall, but Zaïre-Emery is a nightmare for the opposition. He does so much damage with his power; it’s almost imperceptible in modern, attack-oriented football, but he makes his team more solid.
Forwards –
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (8) – He puts in such a tremendous amount of work that it must be a joy for Luis Enrique to have him. He’s a different kind of player (as the Parisian coach often says). Like Zaire-Emery, having Kvaratskhelia as an opponent often guarantees a difficult evening. He won about ten duels in the first half, which is quite impressive. A great match from him. Substituted by Nuno Mendes in the 67th minute.
Ousmane Dembélé (8) – What a goal! Pure, instinctive, everything we love. He has learned the composure of a striker while maintaining the mobility of a complete player. He’s in great form.
Lee Kang-in (5) – He has such a powerful left foot that it’s sometimes frustrating to see him lacking such a large amount of power. This greatly limits his options. He is still valuable on set pieces. Substituted in the 60th minute by Joao Neves.
Coach and Substitutes –
Luis Enrique (7) – He has shaped a formidable team. Everyone runs, everyone fights. Everyone seems intelligent in their play. He is demanding until the very end.
Joao Neves (6) – A good performance off the bench, covering a lot of ground.
Nuno Mendes (5) – Positioned further up the pitch, he often slowed down the game rather than igniting PSG’s attacks. With his pace, he could have been more dangerous for Toulouse on the counter-attack.
Vitinha (6) – A key player, always on the move, Vitinha was able to rest on the bench, and his introduction reminded everyone that he is the one who dictates the tempo of a match best.
Gonçalo Ramos (7) – He only played a handful of minutes and scored a goal. A nice one at that.
