This Saturday, during the 10th matchday of the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain faced Troyes at the Parc des Princes. In a match where the Rouge et Bleu dominated—though without always posing a serious threat or being clinical when they did—they secured a 1-0 victory. Here are our player ratings for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Matvey Safonov (6) – A fairly quiet match for the Russian goalkeeper, who handled everything that came his way with composure.
Defenders –
Warren Zaïre-Emery (7) – Impressive defensively; he was very tidy with the ball and helped initiate several attacking plays.
Ilya Zabarnyi (6.5) – Generally solid at the back, though he did struggle at times—notably against Ripart. The Ukrainian provided reliable distribution and opened the scoring with a fine header from a corner kick.
Willian Pacho (6) – Mostly composed, though he was occasionally troubled by Ripart in a few duels.
Lucas Hernandez (6) – Highly focused on his defensive duties, he brought a useful level of aggression. In possession, he was clean and efficient, if not particularly flashy.
Midfielders –
Vitinha (7) – He calmly dictated play in midfield and set up several chances with superb passing. Had his teammates been more clinical, he would have been a decisive figure.
Désiré Doué (6) – In a PSG side that at times appeared a bit timid, he provided drive and creativity. The number 14 avoided the trap of relying solely on individual heroics. Fabian Ruiz (5.5) – Consistently put in a lot of work to maintain the team’s balance, both offensively and defensively, though he was less prominent than usual when in possession of the ball. Replaced in the 85th minute by Lucas Beraldo.
Forwards –
Mika Godts (4.5) – Showed some good attacking drives and passes, but more is expected from the Belgian. Replaced in the 69th minute by Quentin Ndjantou.
Ferran Torres (5) – Should have scored given the chances that came his way, but he remained a reliable outlet and contributed to the team’s play, including his defensive efforts. Replaced in the 69th minute by João Neves.
Senny Mayulu (6.5) – Made his presence felt early on, even though he was unfortunately unable to find the back of the net. While he faded a bit as the match went on, he never stopped working and provided the assist for the opening goal. Replaced in the 85th minute by Dro Fernandez.
Manager –
Luis Enrique (7) – PSG dominated the match, avoided any injuries, and secured the win. A fairly comfortable and cohesive performance.
