Paris Saint-Germain beat AS Saint-Étienne 1-6 this Saturday at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on Matchday 27 of Ligue 1 2024-2025. After the match, Paris coach Luis Enrique spoke to DAZN.

PSG has two faces, what did you say to them at half-time?

I don’t agree. I don’t agree with what you’re saying. If we analyze the first half, I think Saint-Étienne were superior to us. They had a better rhythm than us and that’s good. They ran a lot more on the ball than we did.

30-35 minutes ago we were inferior. It’s good that we managed to equalize. We got back into the rhythm of the competition afterwards and it’s a very fine victory, it’s a very good example of what it’s like to win soccer. You have to run.

Why did you insist that the doctors not enter the pitch when Doué was injured?

Because he wasn’t injured. Players get up if they can. That’s soccer: there’s contact, there are blows.
