As is often the case, the scores are low, it’s the “PSG rate”. When it doesn’t win, it sucks, when it does win, it’s against a weak opponent. Nobody really deserves a below-average mark after a match mastered from start to finish. It’s not the match of the year, nor does anyone deserve praise. That said, Le Parisien was particularly harsh with the Parisians.
It’s true that the match wasn’t perfect, but three goals were scored, some very fine sequences and above all a feeling of liberation among certain players, proof that the difficulty of scoring goals has hurt Parisian heads in recent weeks. Salzburg are a pretty weak team, but PSG never let them believe it was possible.
