There’s always a reluctance on the part of our beloved media to mark the occasion. They should be told that they have the right not to be frustrated. Hakimi, Zaïre-Emery and Doué don’t deserve such low marks. PSG wouldn’t have performed so well without them either. What’s more, when your team wins 1-4, how can you think that three players were just “average”?
As for the rest, Paris largely dominated, so we’re seeing marks that validate that to some extent. They’ll tell us that it’s only Stuttgart, that we have to wait for the big Champions League games. But we’ll have to remind them that in a match of this level (two, even with Manchester City), nothing can be played down.
