Noham Kamara, 17, a defender/midfielder who came through the Paris Saint-Germain midfield, has officially signed his first professional contract with the capital club. The young player expressed his pride and gratitude on the club’s official PSG website, emphasizing the importance of his family and friends and his eagerness to step onto the Parc des Princes pitch.
Kamara: “I can’t wait to play at the Parc des Princes, in front of our fans.”
“It’s a tremendous source of pride to sign my first professional contract, especially at a club like Paris Saint-Germain, the best club in the world. I would like to thank President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Sporting Director Luis Campos, Coach Luis Enrique, as well as all the staff and my teammates for the trust they place in me every day. I also have a special thought for my parents. I can’t wait to play at the Parc des Princes, in front of our fans.”
With the signing of 17-year-old Noham Kamara, Paris Saint-Germain continues its work to showcase the talents emerging from its youth academy, a priority for Luis Campos and Luis Enrique. The midfielder, who has regularly shone with the youth teams, embodies this desire to make room for the “Titis” in a squad often criticized for its lack of club-bred players.
By securing his future now, PSG avoids a talent drain as has been the case in the past with Kingsley Coman or, more recently, Xavi Simons.
For Kamara, signing this contract is also a promise: to work with the stars of the first team, to establish himself through his commitment, and to prepare, step by step, to bring to the Parc des Princes the energy and creativity expected of a midfielder trained in Paris. Be careful, this doesn’t guarantee a great career in Paris, but the cards are in his hands.
