Here’s our series. The 5 best reasons to watch a match (with some adjustments here and there). We’ll be highlighting the most appealing aspects before each match with a mix of seriousness and humor. Please note, this isn’t meant to be an exhaustive overview. We continue here with the match between Paris Saint-Germain (1st) and Le Havre (12th) this Saturday at the Parc des Princes for Matchday 13 of Ligue 1 2025-2026 (kick-off 9:05 PM, CET).
5 – The break is over!
Club football is back after the last international break of 2025. With the league, Champions League, the Coupe de France (which they enter in December), and the Intercontinental Cup (December 17th), PSG has a busy schedule before the short winter break. It’s time to make the most of it. Starting this Saturday.
4 – No parking on the Parc des Princes pitch.
Didier Digard, the Le Havre coach, has promised he won’t change his playing philosophy and that we won’t see a “bus” against PSG. Good news for the spectacle, even if we know it can be very difficult to break down the Parisians. At least there will be the will, which can help establish a rhythm in this match.
3 – Chevalier must keep the pressure at bay.
After controversy and criticism, Lucas Chevalier has been able to move on with the French national team and play his first match for the national team. All of this has somewhat overshadowed the initial storm; we need to maintain this momentum with a strong performance tonight. He will, of course, be closely watched.
2 – Ramos and Lee: Opportunities to seize.
Gonçalo Ramos (24-year-old striker) and Lee Kang-In (24-year-old midfielder/forward) should get playing time, perhaps even start, while Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old forward) and Désiré Doué (20-year-old midfielder/forward) are still unavailable. They will need to capitalize on this with decisive contributions. Ramos scored for Portugal to regain his confidence, while Doué is in good form both in Paris and with the national team. Let’s hope he continues this momentum.
1- Reclaim first place.
Marseille opened the 13th round of matches with a 5-1 victory against a lackluster Nice side last night, temporarily taking first place in Ligue 1. PSG cannot afford to let this continue; they must win. A determined performance is expected from the Parisian side
