This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain travelled to face Toulouse FC (0-1 video highlights Toulouse/PSG) as part of the 22nd day of Ligue 1. After the match, Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique spoke to PSG TV about his players’ performance.

Enrique “we have to keep working on what we do well”

“It’s a very important win. We like to be able to be competitive in every match, every moment of a match. And I want to congratulate my team. I think we need to keep working on what we’re doing well, keep improving and do everything we can to extend this great period we’re in.”

It’s always difficult for PSG to travel in the league between two Champions League matches. The Parisians have a comfortable lead in the league, and finding the motivation to give 100% is not always easy.

Nevertheless, Luis Enrique’s men got the job done on Saturday, and that’s all that matters. Even if they won by the narrowest of margins, it was a victory they had to come away with. PSG can now turn their attention to the Champions League.
