Paris Saint-Germain won 3-6 against Toulouse this Saturday at the Stadium as part of Matchday 3 of Ligue 1 2025-2026. After the match, Parisian coach Luis Enrique spoke at a press conference.
Enrique: “We have to accept that our rivals have quality.”
A pleasure from this goal-filled match?
“The atmosphere in the stadium was incredible. A very good atmosphere, very positive. We were winning 6-1, but the fans continued to sing. We controlled the match for 60 minutes. Our opponents wanted to attack, but we did very well. It’s a shame for us how the match ended. We have to accept that our rivals have quality. We’re happy. We did a good job.”
Enrique: “I hope he gains confidence.”
Neves’ hat-trick?
“It’s the first time he’s done this with us, and in his career as well, I think. It’s not just his three goals, but the way he did it. I hope he gains confidence and realizes he can score even more. He’s very young. It’s not common. João has that goal-scoring quality that we see in training.”
Enrique: “No goalkeeper likes to concede three goals.”
Do you work on penalty kicks with Chevalier?
“PSG players have qualities. Over the past three weeks, in terms of character and personality, I’ve seen some very good things about him. It’s not easy being PSG’s goalkeeper. He shows his qualities every moment. He was angry after the match because no goalkeeper likes to concede three goals. I’m very happy with his performance and his character. He will help us in the long run.”
