Noham Kamara, the 18-year-old defender under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2028, has been linked with a move away this winter transfer window. Discussions with Olympique Lyonnais have been mentioned. PSG Inside Actu reports that a departure is indeed taking shape, possibly to Lyon, and that it would likely be a loan.
“As reported, Kamara is expected to be loaned out for the next six months. Several Ligue 1 clubs are interested, with some already in talks, such as Lyon, Rennes, and Toulouse. Bundesliga and La Liga clubs are also monitoring the situation. No sale is planned in the short term.”
We’re remaining cautious; nothing is official. The transfer window is never certain as long as it’s just rumors. But a departure for Kamara makes sense to allow him to more easily get playing time at the professional level, given the limited opportunities at PSG. He could potentially go to Lyon, who are looking to strengthen their squad while keeping costs down. There are other clubs that could be considered. It’s far too early to be certain.
