Korean midfielder Lee Kang-In, 24, arrived at the summer mercato in July 2023 from Mallorca and is under contract at Paris Saint-Germain until June 2028. He has achieved some fine things, but is struggling to fully establish himself, and there is talk of a departure this mercato. Today, Sports Zone assures us that Al-Nassr has taken action.
“EXCL. Al-Nassr have been in contact with Paris Saint-Germain regarding Lee Kang-In.
The Saudis want to strengthen their ranks with the Korean attacking midfielder this summer.
For the time being, the Parisian player has no plans to leave the capital.”
We remain cautious, as this is still just a rumour without any concrete evidence. It’s quite possible that there will be attempts to sign Lee, a player that PSG could be ready to part with and who could be tempted by a more important role.
Al-Nassr have already recruited several players in this situation in recent years and could try again. But it’s not certain, and there’s nothing to say that the attempt would succeed. Especially as Lee is not necessarily looking to leave, which is indicated here. As is often the case, we’ll have to wait and see.
