Ilya Zabarnyi, the 22-year-old central defender from Bournemouth (contract runs until 2028) and Ukraine, has been announced as a defensive priority for Paris Saint-Germain this mercato. Journalist Nicolo Schira now reports that PSG are closing in on a €60 million transfer.
We’re still cautious, there’s no confirmation yet from a club or the player. So we know we have to remain cautious, as the mercato and soccer can move very quickly. But it’s true that there’s hope that the transfer will result in an excellent recruit for PSG.
Zabarnyi has a fine team and a possible future among the best in his position. He would fit in well with the project and the game at Paris. A tempting step for him, no doubt.
