Ayyoub Bouaddi, the 18-year-old midfielder for LOSC Lille and the French U21 team, was linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain during the transfer window. However, Lille has just officially announced his contract extension, from 2027 to 2029.

“Ayyoub Bouaddi extends his contract to LOSC
LOSC is proud to announce the two-year contract extension of Ayyoub Bouaddi (18 years old), a product of the Domaine de Luchin academy. The French U21 international midfielder is now tied to his boyhood club until 2029.”
This is a major surprise, especially given the recent reports suggesting PSG were in a strong position. An extension wasn’t mentioned. While it doesn’t completely rule out a transfer in the near future, Lille now finds itself in a powerful bargaining position, particularly regarding the transfer fee. For the moment, Bouaddi is still far from joining Paris.
