This is a credible announcement, as we suspect that Liverpool intends to keep the French international. He is a key player in the defense. And the departure of such a player at the end of his contract is always very painful. Especially since the Reds have just lost Trent Alexander-Arnold (26-year-old right back) in the same way. Real Madrid could well try to do the same with Konaté.
