Randal Kolo Muani, the 26-year-old French national team striker who was struggling at Paris Saint-Germain, has been loaned out to Juventus Turin until the end of the 2024-2025 season without an option to buy. He initially bounced back well, and the Turin club announced its intention to keep him. However, this has yet to materialize, so we’re waiting for an official announcement. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus have made a new offer to PSG.
“Gazzetta: New offer from Juve to #PSG for Randal Kolo Muani. It’s a paying loan (around 10M) and an option to buy (around 40M) for 2026. Paris would rather insert an obligation”
At 50 million euros, there’s enough to convince Paris, according to several indications. The problem lies in the formula, with a “simple” 40 million purchase option that Juventus might not activate. This uncertainty is not to the liking of the Parisian club, and for the time being the dossier seems to be at a standstill.
At least, it has recently been reported that the two clubs’ position on the formula is rather firm. It remains to be seen whether this is confirmed and whether there will be a change. The transfer remains possible and relatively likely, but it’s not a foregone conclusion. The mercato can move quickly, and another club may well try its luck for Kolo Muani. While a stalemate between Juventus and PSG is not impossible.
