Bradley Barcola, a 23-year-old forward signed by Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 on a contract running until June 2028, has established himself at both PSG and the French national team. However, he remains primarily a substitute for big matches—a situation that, according to numerous media outlets, has led him to refuse a contract extension. Consequently, a departure during this transfer window is being considered. According to TalkSport, talks with Liverpool are underway, though an agreement remains a long way off.
Preliminary talks have already taken place, but suggestions that Barcola has already agreed terms are premature.
PSG sources argue Barcola is a back-to-back Champions League winner and should be worth more than Elliot Anderson (£116m) and Morgan Rogers (£117m).
But Liverpool will point to the fact Barcola only has two years left on his current deal and will not sign a new contract. talkSPORT understands their initial valuation will be around £80m.
