Zion Suzuki, the 23-year-old Japan and Parma goalkeeper (under contract until 2029), has been linked to Paris Saint-Germain for the 2026 transfer window—and has recently appeared close to a move. Corriere dello Sport reports this Tuesday that Juventus is interested in securing him on loan.

PSG has indeed opened talks with Parma to acquire the Japanese goalkeeper, who is valued at €30 million. Having already invested heavily in their attack, Juve cannot afford such a sum and is considering a more cost-effective solution—capitalizing on the goalkeeper’s desire for first-team football—should PSG fail to sell Chevalier.
Thus, the idea of a loan to Juventus emerged; the two clubs had previously touched upon this during the Kolo Muani negotiations.
These claims are reasonably credible, not least because PSG is unlikely to keep three established goalkeepers in its squad. While coach Luis Enrique values competition, there are limits. For now, a loan move for Suzuki has been mooted, as has the departure—whether on loan or via permanent transfer—of Lucas Chevalier (24). One cannot even entirely rule out the exit of Matvey Safonov (27). Football moves fast, and Paris has been known to spring surprises.
However, a loan move for Suzuki makes a lot of sense; it would allow Juventus to recruit without incurring a major expense, given their tight financial constraints. As for the goalkeeper, he could retain a starting role and continue his development in a league he already knows well.
Nothing is set in stone yet, so caution is advised. The Japanese international hasn’t even signed with PSG. If he does, it might well be with the intention of establishing himself as the starter in the capital as quickly as possible. That might be the staff’s view as well. There is simply too much uncertainty; let’s wait for anything definite.
