The 2025 summer mercato is now open in France until 8pm on September 1, so the rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are piling up. This time, Tuttosport is reporting that PSG are interested in Khéphren Thuram, a 24-year-old midfielder with Juventus Turin (contract runs until 2029) and the French national team (1 cap).
A relatively credible announcement, since PSG could be looking to strengthen their midfield. In particular, with a rather athletic profile, an aspect that can be lacking in certain matches. Thuram is talented, with technical qualities that could fit into the Parisian team. And a certain amount of experience today.
However, there’s nothing concrete and it’s clearly too little to be certain. All the more so when a possible extension is being mooted at the same time. We’ve already seen enough cases like this end with an extension at the end of a false suspense. We’ll wait and see before giving any more importance to this rumour, which still has too many possible outcomes.
