Eli Junior Kroupi, a 19-year-old striker who came through the Lorient youth system and now plays for Bournemouth (under contract until 2030) and the French U21 national team, is among the players mentioned as transfer targets for Paris Saint-Germain. However, journalist Olivier Tallaron (Canal+) announced this Friday that PSG will not make a move. The same applies to Alexei Batrakov (21-year-old attacking midfielder) of Lokomotiv Moscow and the Russian national team.
TransferWindow: The Alexei Batrakov deal is over. PSG studied and scouted the player but are not interested. The same goes for Kroupi Junior. The club will not be making any moves on this matter. Luis Enrique had a long conversation with L. Chevalier this week
These claims seem quite credible, since there hasn’t been the slightest concrete sign of PSG making progress recently regarding Kroupi. It’s a bit more surprising for Batrakov, who seemed close to joining Paris for a while. However, there hasn’t been any confirmation, and it’s quite possible that Paris is focusing on other targets.
We remain cautious, however, as this is still just a rumor. Only official information will provide certainty during the transfer window. But we also know PSG in recent years; leads without quick confirmation don’t tend to materialize. It’s quite possible that the Parisian recruits will be players who haven’t yet been mentioned.
