November has barely begun, and the transfer rumors are already starting. For several hours now, Dayot Upamecano, the 27-year-old Bayern Munich defender, has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain. Speaking at a press conference with the French national team, he focused on this topic.

You’re out of contract at the end of the season. Could Paris Saint-Germain be an option for the future?
“PSG is a very big club, with a great coach and fantastic players. But right now, my mind isn’t on that. I’m focused on Bayern Munich and the French national team. The season is still long. I have an agent for that. I hope to achieve my goals with my club.”
You played with Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes last week, and you’ll be playing there again with the French national team. Is it your home ground?
“It’s true that my family will be at the stadium, I’m French. But I also feel at home at Bayern Munich (laughs).”
