Dayot Upamecano, the 27-year-old Bayern Munich defender, spoke to Canal+ on Wednesday evening after securing qualification for the semi-finals following their victory against Real Madrid (4-3, 6-4 on aggregate). He was asked to focus on the matches against Paris Saint-Germain on April 28th and May 6th.
“It won’t be an easy match. They have a great team with a great coach. We know what to expect and we’re going to do everything we can to win there.”
Of course, Upamecano has great respect for PSG. They are the reigning champions, and recent encounters between the two teams have been close, intense, and entertaining. The outcome is difficult to predict; we simply expect that both sides will give their all. Both clubs are clearly aiming for the final, and even the title.
