Ilya Zabarnyi, the 22-year-old central defender from Bournemouth (contract runs until 2028) and Ukraine, has been announced as a defensive priority for Paris Saint-Germain this mercato. Journalist Nicolò Schira reports today that PSG already have an agreement with the player.
We remain cautious, there’s nothing concrete yet. No club has confirmed it, and neither has Zabarnyi. But it would be surprising if almost all the media were talking about it for nothing.
The most difficult question now is whether the transfer is possible. Interest between PSG and the player may well exist, but nothing will happen without an agreement with Bournemouth. Which is said to be complicated at the moment. So let’s wait and see.
