Lucas Hernandez caused concern on Tuesday evening with a pain that required intervention by the medical staff during the 0-2 victory over Le Mans in the 8th final of the French Cup. In the mixed zone, the 28-year-old defender gave us some news.
“Lucas Hernandez, wearing a windbreaker in front of the mixed zone, answers a journalist’s question: “Yes, everything’s fine, it’s just the heel,” he replies briefly.”
So there was obviously more concern than a real problem. This is reassuring, all the more so for a player who has already endured a very long absence during 2024. There will no doubt be some precautionary measures to be taken in the coming days, but we hope to see Hernandez back at the top level as soon as possible.
