The shortlist for the 2025 Ballon d’Or (which now recognizes a football season rather than a calendar year) will be announced this Monday, September 22. Among the nominees are nine players from Paris Saint-Germain: Ousmane Dembélé, Gianluigi Donnarumma (now at Manchester City), Désiré Doué, Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Nuno Mendes, João Neves, Fabian Ruiz, and Vitinha. The ceremony will also include the Women’s Ballon d’Or, the Raymond Kopa Trophy for the best player under 21, and the Yashin Trophy for the best goalkeeper.
