Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the 23-year-old SSC Napoli striker under contract until 2027, was the target of a concrete offer from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, but his club didn’t open the door despite pressure from his entourage. There is a Parisian attempt this winter. Il Mattino now claims that the deal between PSG and the player has already been settled, with figures.
“Il Mattino announces agreement between PSG and Kvaratskhelia!
Contract until 2029 with salary of 8.5 million per season with bonuses!”
Nothing impossible, but we remain cautious since the agreement is not official. It is therefore difficult to be sure of the figures, especially as the Italian press tends to exaggerate a little on the financial aspects.
But it’s quite possible that PSG and Kvaratskhelia, who was already close to Paris last summer, have already reached an advanced stage. The hardest part remains reaching an agreement with Napoli. The Italian club is said to be open to discussion this time, but this is no guarantee of success. Especially as this is just a rumour.
We’ll have to wait and see for certain, although we suspect that the Georgian international would earn a handsome salary in Paris if he were to sign.
