Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, SSC Napoli’s 23-year-old striker under contract until 2027, was the target of a concrete offer from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, but his club didn’t open the door despite pressure from his entourage. PSG came back this winter, and this time the Neapolitan club opened up to the Georgian’s desire to leave. La Repubblica and Le Parisien report that a decisive discussion is taking place this Monday in Nice.
“| Giovanni Manna (Napoli’s sporting director) is on his way to Nice to meet PSG bosses about Khvicha Kvaratskhelia!”
“Mercato PSG : discussions à Nice entre dirigeants de Paris et Naples pour le transfert de Kvaratskhelia”
With several media outlets mentioning a forthcoming discussion between the two clubs at the start of the week, and now the media assuring us that it’s underway, it’s safe to assume that PSG and Napoli have indeed launched these negotiations with a view to reaching an agreement.
