Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, SSC Napoli’s 23-year-old striker under contract until 2027, was the target of a concrete offer from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, but his club didn’t open the door despite pressure from his entourage. PSG came back this winter, and this time the Neapolitan club opened up to the Georgian’s desire to leave. Several journalists have now confirmed the agreement between the two clubs, along with the transfer fee.
There’s no longer any doubt about it: Kvaratskhelia is coming to PSG for a total of around 80 million euros. This is excellent news, given the player’s suitability for the Parisian project. And Paris has avoided the 100 million-euro spending spree that Napoli were hoping for last summer.
