Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, SSC Napoli’s 23-year-old striker under contract until 2027, was the target of a concrete offer from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, but his club didn’t open the door despite pressure from his entourage. PSG came back this winter, and this time the Neapolitan club opened up to the Georgian’s desire to leave. L’Equipe reports that he will arrive on Wednesday to undergo a medical later today or on Thursday.

At last, the famous last step before signing has been announced. Beware, however: there can be no certainty without confirmation, preferably official confirmation. But we rarely reach this level of rumour for nothing.
Kvaratskhelia will most likely be a PSG player soon. We’re wary of timing, and the media are very often wrong on this point. Of course, this is only a detail in this very nice move by Paris.
